I recently returned from a short vacation with my hubby to Niagara Falls in the lovely Buffalo, NY. It was a long, twelve hour drive, but it was totally worth it. The Falls were absolutely amazing and beautiful. The pictures you see and the ones I’m putting up don’t do it justice. You have to see it up close and personal. Ride the Maid of the Mist like we did and enjoy getting soaked by the water. Take in every second of this masterpiece and never look back.
We had such a great time watching the waterfall and the river. We drove a little further to find Lake Ontario and could just make out the Toronto Skyline on the other side.
On our way home, we stopped in Cleveland, OH and visited the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I highly recommend any fan of music to swing by and see this place. It’s so interesting to see how much music has changed over the decades–as well as the clothing. We saw so many neat pieces, watched videos from when rock and roll was the “devil music”. Got a nice view of Lake Erie from one of the upper windows and spent the better part of two hours walking around and seeing everything this place had to offer. I think we could’ve easily spent another two hours there if we had the time.
All in all, this was a great vacation. I wasn’t looking forward to coming back to work today, but who does, right?
Since I have a knack for running during the warm months, I tend to take random pictures of things I find interesting or just plain cool looking. So, here are a few I had fun editing. I have a thing for eerie scenarios!
Outside of writing my life way and telling whatever crazy story is on my mind, I also enjoy taking random pictures. Most of the time I snap a pic of something I find neat when I’m out on my run in the evenings or if I see something interesting when we go places. I’m also one of those people that likes changing the style of the photo: the color or the saturation and brightness. I took a couple recently when I was walking through the cemetery and thought they turned out pretty neat. I figured I’d share some of my random photography today. I’m not a professional and I never plan on being one, but it is fun snapping a photo of things that don’t involve a selfie.
