Good morning world! I’ve updated my series on Channillo. Chapter Six is now available for your reading enjoyment. Check it out if you enjoy a good, young adult dystopian with some science fiction thrown in the mix.
As I’m getting The Day The World Burns ready to publish, I realize that one of my good friends might be upset for the lives characters are forced to live. It’s the end of the world in an alien invasion; you can’t expect them to have to greatest time in the world! Plus, that’s how books–in my opinion–stay interesting.
I’ve been working on getting my science fiction novel, The Day The World Burns, ready for publication this year. My goal is to release it by the end of the year. I think I need to give myself a deadline so this will get done instead of me just saying it’ll get done. I have the cover art done and ready to use. The little blurb to go on the back of the book is also complete. I just need to finish the final draft and get it out to the world.
Procrastination is a problem. Distractions are a common occurrence. I feel like a deadline is the best option. I’ll shoot for mid-July to have this thing polished and have my proof ordered. Maybe by the end of August I’ll have my fifth book out for the world to enjoy!
I have finally uploaded the first installment of my series onto the Channillo website. It is available for your reading pleasure. Check it out, subscribe to my page, and follow the adventurous tale of Leven Murdock!
I got some good news today. I applied at Channillo to write a series and publish each installment online and they accepted my application. It should be a good way to get my name out there and also bring in some new readers. My plan is to get the account and everything set up this weekend and hopefully have the first installment of my series out within the next week or so. I have a book I’ve been sitting on that would be perfect to break it down chapter by chapter for this occasion.
Let’s hope my year keeps going down this nice track!
It’s Monday again. Time for a new week in the bitter cold of almost winter. I’m ready for spring and warm weather already. Who isn’t?
I think I’ve turned into one of those writers who is working on more than one project at a time. I don’t know why, but I keep switching back and forth between three stories. I have three different note books by my keyboard on my desk for each project’s outline and special character traits.
I wish I could focus on just one, but there’s no fun in that!
It’s been four years since I released my first book and I still have to pinch myself on occasion just so I know it’s real. I love knowing my work is out there for the world to enjoy and I’ll continue to send my babies out there.
You can download your very own copy of The Human Race for Kindle today for .99 cents. And don’t forget to check out the other two books in this YA apocalyptic trilogy.
